Credentials and education
PACE
PACE is the Academy of General Dentistry's Program Approval for Continuing Education, which reviews and approves organizations that provide dental continuing education.
PACE stands for Program Approval for Continuing Education. The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) runs it. The AGD says the program is based on 13 rigorous standards for identifying high-quality educational organizations. Only organizations that meet PACE standards are approved.
PACE approves the providers, not individual speakers. Dentists often look for PACE-approved or ADA CERP-recognized providers when they want CE credit that boards and award programs accept. The Academy of General Dentistry lists approved providers on its site. Always confirm with your state board that a provider's credit counts for renewal.
