Speakers bureau
A speakers bureau is an agency or directory that connects event organizers with speakers, often listing topics, biographies and videos to help planners choose.
A speakers bureau helps meeting planners find speakers. One dental bureau describes a curated directory of experienced speakers on clinical, practice management, team building and wellness topics. Planners can browse by topic and view bios and videos.
Bureaus work in different ways. Some list speakers for free. Others charge speakers or planners a fee. Ask each bureau how it is paid before you sign up or hire.
A planner who needs a dental speaker for a study club or a dental conference can use a bureau, a society's speaker list or direct contact. Check the speaker's disclosures and the meeting's CE rules in any case.
